I love these grills. I got a spare October 2023 for $140 at Walmart, shipped.

These always hovers around $200 on amazon and more during summer.

I had one of these and returned it. To big, heavy and clumsy to use. Also, difficult to haul this thing unless you have a pickup truck.

I found it better to get a table-top version and a fold up table. Much easier to load into a non-pickup vehicle.

Also, the metal on this is paper-thin, and the way it is manufactured the parts are not replaceable. Pretty much a disposable grill once the paper-thin sheet metal starts to rust away. I definitely wouldn't keep this thing outdoors. Use it, clean it up good, and store inside enclosed garage.

Many negatives to this grill. However, the one redeeming part of this grill is that it has a really nice, heavy, cast iron grate. Nice heat retention and nice grill marks.

Why would this be difficult to load in a non pickup vehicle? It appears it folds flat. Did you own a different model?

Item weight is 46.7 pounds. Not light weight at all. Hauling around a 50 pound, awkward shaped item gets old really fast.

It's long (look at the picture of the guy wheeling it, and that is a tall guy, and it is held at an angle). Now, stand that grill straight up-and-down it would be taller than waist high.

Awkward to load, almost a 2 person job to lift it and load it.

Really flimsy construction. If you wheel it on bumpy surface, it will rattle apart, have to wheel it slow.

The way the legs fold out, it always wants to "fall" when you unfold it. You open it up to grill, and SLAM... The scissor legs fall down flat.

The paper thin sheet metal is riveted together in many places with small/cheap rivets. That will pop open.

Also, have to screw in the propane bottle very carefully. The regulator on it is really cheap pot metal, and the threads strip easily. Oh, and guess what, the way the regulator is built into the unit it can't be replaced. So if you strip it, the grill is now garbage.

The list could go on longer.

If you get it, I would recommend using it, load and unload into your vehicle, roll it around your backyard or neighborhood. Use it and abuse it, and put it through its paces during the 30-day return period. So you know if this going to work for you.

All this and more. Mine lasted one season under a covered patio in S Florida got used 3 weekends and stored. Opened up and rust city…my right handle popped off when I tried to open it. Went with a Weber Q with a folding table haven't looked back.

I echo both of the above harsh and thorough reviews. I wheeled mine down to the dumpster. This thing is also super messy to clean.

I would pass on this model. If you do get it, I recommend an adapter & regulator (carefully inserted) and a hose to allow larger tanks and avoid the awkward, easy-stripped stock one.

So hard to read the bad comments regarding this grill since my experience has been the total opposite. Does it rattle? Yes, but it's only because you're not rolling in carpet, I mean shopping carts rattle. Not once have the legs fallen after clipped even when moving it. I've used this grill when we rent a condo at the beach, when we visited my sister at her apartment complex, when it's been my kids birthday and I need an extra warmer. Don't get fooled by that comment this thing can burn! I've cooked everything from ribeyes to a couple of sitting chickens. I clean my grill the following morning because in my family we usually stay up until late and we are cooking all the time. Great deal I think especially if Coleman has it for $149 with code SPRING like somebody else said. I'm buying one for my parents!

*Update: Code SPRING seems to not work for the grill.

I agree, any good buys on a tabletop?

I bought last deal $129 on Amazon. It has amazing quality and average-high grill performance. Recommended.

Sorry but nobody has ever stated these things are quality. That's objectively false.

Don't waste your time on anything but Weber or Napoleon when it comes to travel grills. And really just Weber

For the price here, get you a Weber Go Anywhere gas.

I've had this grill for 4 years and use it probably 3-5 times a year on camping trips. Always clean it after each use and stored in garage when not in use. One thing that many probably overlook about cleaning is you are supposed to fill the inside pan with water before cooking and it helps catch all the grease that runs off and makes for an easier clean up. I think the water also helps provide a convection like heat.

It's been great for my use cases and no signs of rust or excessive wear! I only have a mid size SUV and it fits in the back along with a large cooler and everything else needed for a family of 4 on a 3 day tent camping trip. I like having something with its own stand so it doesn't take up picnic table space when out camping And I can keep any smoke away from others sitting/eating. The cast iron grates are excellent and you can buy a smooth flat griddle insert for eggs/pancakes etc. Don't listen to the negative reviews on this! I got mine for around $120 from bed bath & beyond.
